  1. I have forgotten my password, how do I retrieve it?
    Click the Forgot your password link and follow the steps provided to receive a new password
  2. I can’t access my account, what should I do?
    Double check that the entered username/e-mail address and password is correct. The password is case sensitive so make sure your Caps Lock key is turned off. If you still experience trouble logging in to your account please contact Customer Service for further assistance.
  3. How can I contact Customer Service?

  4. Why does my balance differ for different products?
    This can happen when you have a product specific bonus active. When you have bonus funds, they will only appear for the specific product for which the bonus was offered. When bonus fund wagering requirements have been met they will be released and available for all the products. You can see your active bonuses in “My account” – “Bonuses”.
  5. Can I play on Betsson from a mobile phone or tablet?
    Yes you can! Access our mobile site by visiting betsson.com from any mobile browser or get our app for iOS or Android. Please note that Poker by Microgaming is only available via the mobile browser.

  7. Why do I have to register?
    By registering at Betsson you are opening an account free of charge and without any commitments, and once you have an account you will be able to play our products for real money.
  8. Why do I need to register personal information?
    In order for Betsson to be able to give you the highest level of service and to maintain the highest level of security we need to be able to identify the customer, especially so, when paying out winnings. We therefore need the customers first and last name, as well as your residing address. The correct date of birth secures that you have reached the minimum age to use the Betsson products. Your email address enables us to inform you of important news, campaigns or information about a forgotten password. By providing your phone number, we can reach you to verify your account or send an SMS when we have a special offer for you.
  9. Personal information security?
    Betsson uses state-of-the-art security measures. All transactions containing sensitive information between your browser and our servers are encrypted. If you choose to store credit card information in our database, it will be encrypted as well.
  10. Technical safety?
    There are many aspects of the technical safety, however, below find a few major precautions that have been established. Physical safety - Our servers are placed in highly protected premises, where all employees have been security cleared. Security breach protection - Our servers are protected by a complex and verified firewall system. Data integrity - All sensitive communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted.
  11. Is my deposited money safe with Betsson?
    Yes, all customers deposits are held in bank accounts with regulated, tier-1 financial institutions.
  12. How can I verify my account?
    To verify your account, go to “My account” – “My documents” and follow the instructions. Learn more about this in FAQ - Account Verification section.
  13. Which web browser should I use?
    We recommend that you use the latest version of Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome. For Mac users we recommend Safari.
  14. How do I close my account?
    You will need to contact our Customer Support from the e-mail address that is registered on your account and request them to close your account. You can contact them by e-mail or by chat. We do not accept requests to close accounts over the phone.
  15. What are Inactive and Dormant accounts?
    Inactive accounts are accounts that have not been accessed for 12 months.
    Dormant accounts are accounts that have not been accessed for 30 months.

    Inactive accounts which still hold a balance will have an administration fee of €5 (or equivalent) deducted from their Betsson account every month, until the account is activated again or there is no longer a balance. After 30 months when they become dormant accounts they will be closed and any remaining funds will be transferred to the MGA (The Malta Gaming Authority). This is a requirement by the MGA.   16. Who are the MGA?
    Betsson is licensed by the MGA (The Malta Gaming Authority), which is an independent body that regulates all companies that offer online gaming in Malta. In accordance with the MGA’s regulations, if a gaming account is opened and has no activity for a period of 12 months it will be deemed inactive, and after 30 months it will be deemed dormant. Betsson must then close the account and transfer any outstanding account balance to the MGA. Further information on how you can claim the fee back can be found below in our FAQs.
  17. How can I know if my account is at risk of becoming Inactive/Dormant?
    Betsson will send out an email to the registered email address on your account and also inform you if the account still holds a balance. We send out an email 30 days before your account becomes inactive, and 30 days before the account becomes dormant. The account balance will then be transferred to the MGA (The Malta Gaming Authority).
  18. How much are the administration fees?
    A monthly administrative fee of EUR 5 (or equivalent) will be debited from the account every month until the account is activated again or there is no longer a balance. No accounts will be put into a negative balance.

    For example: if you have 0.40 cents in your account, the only amount taken will be those 0.40 cents. You will not continue to be debited after the balance is 0.00.
  19. Will I be able to get my money back?
    If your account has already been charged with the administrative fee, and before your account becomes dormant, you start playing on your account, then we will refund the amount to your account. Please contact our Customer Support to request this.

    If your account becomes dormant and we are still been unable to contact you, then in accordance with the applicable law, Betsson shall close your account and transfer the remaining account balance to the MGA (The Malta Gaming Authority). Customers requesting a refund of their funds are to contact our Customer Support to assist with this.
